Beginning Monday July 17th and Thursday, July 20th, and each Monday and Thursday thereafter, TRMS will have football workouts for students interested in playing football this fall.  Workouts will be from 8:30 AM until 10:00 AM, each Monday and Thursday.  Students do not have to have a physical to participate. Attendance is not mandatory for any students who wish to tryout for football. Workouts will be held on the soccer practice field, next to the bus lot. Parents, drop off and pick up will be at the bus parking lot. Students who wish to attend should bring cleats and tennis shoes.  Due to this late notice, if you cannot attend on Monday, you can still come Thursday the 20th and each Monday and Thursday, thereafter, attendance for any particular day is not mandatory.








Middle School beginning August 8th through the 10th.  This camp is sponsored by Burke County Public School's GearUp program. If you are interested in attending and need more information, please email Mr. Simpson. (tsimpson@burke.k12.nc.us)

  9. (4) 1.5 to 2 inch 3 ring binders (one for each subject)
  10. (1) 3 subject Spiral Notebooks for English / Language Arts 
  11. (1) 3 Ring Binders for Social Studies

Parents,
The total trip cost will be $500 and spaces are first come, first serve with a limit of 88 seats. If a deposit is not received by Sept. 1st, there will NOT be a space reserved on the trip for your student.  Thank you 7th Grade Teachers.
Parents,
This week (July 10th-13th), staff will be available at the school for parents of 7th grade students planning to attend the Washington DC field trip this fall, so you can come to the school to make the $100 deposit.  Staff will be available between the hours of 8 AM and 4 PM Monday through Thursday to issue receipts for those payments.

8th Grade Career Day Pre-Survey

  • Out-of-District Transfer Request Attention parents, The open enrollment period for student transfer requests ends Wednesday, May 31, 2017. The transfer request fee during open enrollment is $50. After May 31, the processing fee will be $100.  You are required to fill out a student transfer request ONLY if you are requesting enrollment at a school outside of your district.  If you already have an approved transfer to the school your child currently attends, you are not required to complete a new transfer request UNLESS the student is a fifth grader advancing to a middle school or an eighth grader advancing to a high school outside his or her district.    The following schools cannot accept transfers:  Forest Hill Elementary, Mountain Crest Elementary, Rutherford College ...

  • Gear-Up Summer Camp GEAR UP summer camp applications are now available for current 6th - 8th graders! There will be four overnight camps, two camps at UNCA (one for animal science and one for mechatronics) and two camps on leadership at ASU. There will also be two week long, day camps (one on coding and one on engineering). An informational flyer and form is being given to all 6th-8th graders during homeroom next week. If your student would like to attend one of these camps, please fill out the form and have them return it to the GEAR UP office at school no later than April 26th!!! Spaces are limited!!! More information will be coming soon about other summer opportunities for current freshmen ...

  • Jump Start Jump Start into Middle SchoolTo assist our students in getting ready for that big transition to Middle School, we offer the Jump Start program to our 5th grade students.  The Jump Start program provides you the opportunity to socialize with up-rising 6th graders that will be attending Table Rock Middle in the fall.  Students learn more about the school and are engaged in exercises  to help them smoothly transition into their new environment here at Table Rock Middle.  Come join in the fun starting July 25th-27th from 8:30-11:30.  Forms will be made available at the elementary schools soon.
